I should update this more often I guess. But frankly I don't care to. Sorry, if you do care.
Amanda's not getting a kidney after all, the woman backed out because of insurance crap.
I'm not taking summer classes after all because it would have crippled me financially to do so. Sigh.
At least I'm going to a good number of concerts to keep my mind off of how much I'm sick of my job and life in general:
5/31 - Stone Temple Pilots/Filter
7/16 - Eve 6
7/28 - Maybe Warped Tour, not sure yet
7/31 - Either Bruce Springsteen or Flogging Molly, hopefully
8/18 - The Faint
Plus the Devils draft party is in late June and I've never been to one and am jonsing for hockey featuring teams I don't despise.
Me & Christina are starting a new blog hopefully, dedicated to 90s alternative music. Hense the sudden re-obsession with Eve 6 and the like. I'll link it here if I ever think to, once it's up and running.
I guess that's it again.

I'm (planning on) going back to school, mid-Mayish. Summer sessions, maybe one class there and one-two online classes.
I'm going to two concerts I didn't care about two weeks ago:
Third Eye Blind. April 1st.
Bamboozle. May 4th & 5thish.
I'm spending my summer working, saving money, working out, losing weight, and maybe going to a few concerts, but not as many as last year.
I'm no longer going to Warped Tour. I'm okay with that, I hate being the oldest fucker there who didn't bring their children.
Jackie's going to Toronto, late Mayish. I want to go to Toronto and have all my life. I cannot afford it, though. I have no idea what I'll be doing that week, but I need something. Bad.
This summer's probably going to suck, but it should lead into a decent rest of my life. I hope. If that's the case, suck away, summer.
I grow lazy with the whole updating thing here. I'm terribly sorry, I guess. I wish I had more desire to talk about the boring day-to-day shit in life but I just can't do it. Most of you don't want to hear me whine about it and I don't want to come back to this journal years from now and see myself whining about it. Hense why updates will probably remain sporatic at best for the foreseeable future.
If you want to read actual writing from me on a (semi) regular basis, and you like hockey, I'm a contributer at www.2manadvantage.com, a New Jersey Devils blog. It's fun, I can bitch about hockey and recap games as their happening.
Myself and Christinaaaaa were supposed to hang out yesterday but shit happened, so I worked instead. So now I'm off today and tomorrow, which is pretty awesome because I'm never off on consecutive days. Going to a game tonight, no idea what (if anything) I'll be doing tomorrow. Maybe cleaning and sitting around the house. That seems likely.
So yeah, I guess that's it. B'bye.

Posted coz Christina made me:
Comment on this entry, and I will...
Tell you why I friended you.
Associate you with something - fandom, song, color, photo, word, etc.
Tell you something I like about you.
Tell you a memory I have of you.
Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
In return, you must post this in your LJ.
Still have the same shitty job. Still have the same shitty life.
Spend more time with friends, though. That's always good.
Spend more time at hockey games as well. Also very good.
Maybe I'll get back into updating this often, maybe not. I dunno.
Small steps, right?

Y'know, besides actually seeing my friends for extended periods of time.
- Pick 10 songs.
- Translate them from English to German to French, then back to English in an online translator.
- Have people guess what songs they are.
- If they have a line through them, they've already been guessed.

I was watching a shoe on Sundance called Iconoclasts...they bring together two famous people to...talk about each other, I guess. Anyway, the one on was Michael Stipe and Mario Batali. Michael Stipe went to a CD store and bought Mario Batali a copy of a Neutral Milk Hotel CD.
This amuses me. I always imagined Mario Batyali would probably like old timey Italian traditional music. Not so much mid-90s alternative indie rock.
Awesome.

I'm only taking one class and it turns out that one class is actually an external class, so I only actually have to be on the Kean campus three more times. Which works out nicely for me.
The class isn't as advertised (Media Advertising), instead it's kind of a Public Relations using New Media kind of deal. I was looking forward to the advertising part of it, but I can deal with PR.
Besides that everything is how it always is. Work too much, hate it, occasionally go out for a beer with Amanda or for random shopping trips with Christina or on very rare occasion actually see and spend time with Jackie.
Tomorrow night is hockey night at the minor league baseball game...I don't get it either but I don't ask questions, I'm totally wearing my Devils jersey to a baseball game anyway.
Lunch now, work soon, bye.
--Josh
I should not like it.
I think it's the British accent.
--Josh
And now they are.
If I have the monies, I think I need to go to this. Just to hear Jet Black New Year, at midnight, like I've done so many times in my own room...but not in my own room.
That would be awesome.
--Josh
There was more I was going to write about, but...next time.
--Josh
Over the last three days I have applied for two jobs that I would really like to have.
If any of you catches me saying something like "It's too far" or (assuming I get one) "I think I'm going to skip the interview" I want you to kick me in the nuts as hard as you can.

Muse was yesterday, Muse was awesome. Cold War Kids opened and were pretty good. Not going to compare them with TV On The Radio musically, but the live show seemed similar with the massiev amounts of people on stage and the cacophany of instrumentation. Would like to see what they can do in a non-cavernous arena.
Muse was naturally awesome...19 songs, overall amazing show.
----------------
I've started writing for a hockey blog. Hopefully it causes me to write more in general, including here. If I start talking more about hockey here, sorry. It's what I like.

God that new Kanye West song (Stronger) is good, no?
----------------
Schedule of life for the upcoming future:
Wednesday: Work 3-close, possibly kill the person I'm closing with
Thursday: Either work 9-5 or sit in jail on murder charges
Friday: Incubus concerts with Christina
Saturday: Work 9-5, crash at home(like how I'm free of the legal system regardless?)
Sunday: Work 12-close
I miss vacation. Interesting tidbit: I'll make more from my week of vacation than I ever do from an actual weeks work, because my vacation is 40 hours and my typical work week is 35ish.
----------------
My truck has needed to be towed and repaired twice in the last two weeks, at a total cost of over $800. Someone give me money, I really fuckin need it right now.
----------------
Contrary to the music I'm listening to and the lyric in the title of this post, I am not feeling good.
I'm going away.
--Josh
10/06 - Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, Les Savy Fav at Randall's Island
10/07 - Minus the Bear/Subtle at Starland
10/12 - !!! at Webster Hall
That's one indie-tastic week.
--Josh
And I'm getting sick on the first day of said vacation.
FUCK!
My birthday is Tuesday and it's gonna suck.
Where's the nyquil...?
--Josh
I'd say it was because I was busy but it's not.
It's because I just really don't care.
Sorry.
Brief recap:
4th of July sucked.
LiveEarth was kind of cool.
I'm going to be writing for a Devils blog.
I still work alot.
Jackie got a job.
Someone save me because it's becoming painfully clear I cannot save myself.
See you in another two weeks.
--Josh
FUCK YOU.
Worst week ever. And it's only fucking Wednesday.
Late June is the new November.
--Josh
